We are seeking a proactive, mature, and client-facing Senior Network Security Consultant to lead functional initiatives and client requirements across OSS, Mobile Networks, and Network Security domains.
Rather than operating solely as a deep-tech hands-on specialist, this role requires an end-to-end (E2E) functional perspective of telecom systems (Radio, Core, OSS, BSS) combined with an advisory posture. You will act as a trusted functional lead and an advisor, managing requirement pipelines, coordinating team deliverables, and guiding network transformation projects.
- To lead and oversee the functional requirements and day-to-day needs for the OSS, Mobile Networks (RAN, Core), and network security domains.
- To act as the primary client-facing advisor, managing daily relationships, setting expectations, and translating business goals into end-to-end functional specifications.
- To participate in and guide large-scale telecom transformation programs, ensuring seamless integration across multi-vendor and multi-domain environments.
- To assess network security posture and functional risks across mobile and fixed networks, aligning design with international standards and operational guidelines.
- To coordinate and prioritize local team activities, deliverables, and backlog management with high autonomy and clear direction.
- To prepare and deliver high-level functional designs, risk evaluations, and strategic project roadmaps for technical and executive stakeholders.
- To bridge the gap between technical execution teams and client leadership to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on functional architecture, network security design, program coordination, or team leadership.
- To have prior experience in team coordination, project management, or functional area management (desiderable).
- Native or fluent proficiency in Portuguese alongside full professional fluency in English (mandatory for daily client interactions).
- Solid End-to-End Telecom Functional Knowledge, including a broad understanding of Telecom Network ecosystems-specifically OSS (Operations Support Systems), Mobile Core (4G/5G), RAN (Radio Access), and supporting network security architectures.
- Familiarity with virtualized network functions (VNF/CNF), Telco Cloud, or OSS transformation frameworks (e.g., TM Forum/eTOM) (Desiderable).
- Understanding of telecom security frameworks and standards (e.g., 3GPP TS 33.xxx, GSMA, ISO 27001, NIST) (Desiderable).
- Strong client-facing maturity and posture, characterized by excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, combined with a confident and approachable style in direct client engagements.
- Strategic advisory mindset, with the ability to evaluate full E2E system impacts and business value beyond isolated technical components.
- High level of autonomy and proactive leadership, capable of coordinating team activities and managing local deliverables effectively.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally on an occasional/sporadic basis according to project demands.
