Wire IT in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Network Security Automation specialist for a hybrid role. You will design and implement automation for network devices, manage configurations with Ansible, and work with Linux-based systems in a security-focused environment.

The candidate should bring 5+ years of relevant experience, strong Python and networking tooling skills, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Join our agile team and contribute to impactful, international projects.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python (networking libraries: Netmiko, NAPALM, PyEZ, Nornir), Bash/Shell scripting, YAML/JSON, Ansible and Jinja2 templating.
• Experience with Ansible, Git version control, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Network Management: Netconf, Resconf, gNMI, gNOI, Vendor specific REST API
• Networking Protocols: Knowledge of Layer 2/3 protocols, Desidered overlay/underlay technologies, and security protocols.
• Monitoring and Observability: SNMP, NetFlow/sFlow, GraphQL, streaming telemetry
• Log analysis and correlation
• Desidered: Visualization tools (Grafana, Kibana, Coralogix, PowerBI, prometheus)
• Desidered: JIRA, Netbox, Netbrain, LogicMonitor, Netbackup
• Linux Environments: Experience in Linux system administration, including shell scripting, system configuration, and performance tuning. Ability to manage and automate tasks in Linux environments, integrating with network automation tools.
