Nextlane in Porto is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver complex features across our .Net backend and React/Next frontend. You’ll own key technical decisions, shape architecture, and mentor peers while building scalable, high-quality applications.

This hybrid role offers 2 days on-site and 3 days remote, with a global team and a strong focus on collaboration, learning, and impact.

Qualificações

• Strong backend experience with .Net and scalable architectures.
• Frontend development experience with React/Next.
• Proven ability to deliver complex features with ownership and autonomy.
• Experience evaluating trade-offs and making architectural decisions.
• Comfort with testing strategies (unit/integration/UI).
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own the design, development, and delivery of complex features and systems across our applications.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions using .Net and React/Next.
• Drive technical decisions, balancing business needs, delivery timelines, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Contribute to evolution of backend and frontend architecture, practices, and standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver outstanding user experiences.
• Lead complex functionalities and ensure applications remain reliable, secure, and performant.
• Define and improve testing, release, and quality practices for safe delivery.
• Identify technical risks early and propose solutions to reduce complexity.
• Lead refactoring and modernization initiatives to improve code health.
• Mentor other engineers through guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Act as a technical leader within the team, raising overall engineering quality.
