Job summary

Empa-T is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join an international project in Lisbon. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET technologies and contribute to high-value software solutions that deliver real business value.

You will work with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Fluency in English, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential to deliver robust, secure, and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong knowledge of .NET technologies, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and Design Patterns.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET technologies
• Develop new features, user stories, and bug fixes following best practices
• Contribute to the implementation of search and subscription functionalities within web platforms
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation for all developments
• Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices
• Support the continuous improvement of application performance, security, and scalability
