Vestas in Porto is seeking a Software Developer to maintain and enhance .NET/C# applications, including cloud-based services and data-driven tools. You will work with Azure and Kubernetes, contribute to API and system design, and collaborate with domain experts and IT to deliver robust software across the Vestas plant-design and risk modelling domain.

Qualificações

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent)
• Solid programming skills in .NET/C# or similar OO languages
• Experience in software engineering and architecture (API design, system design, CI/CD)
• Experience with service-oriented/microservice architectures
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server, Snowflake, HTML/CSS/JS/Angular, ASP.NET Core, EF, Azure DevOps/GitHub

Responsabilidades

• Continuously develop and maintain core simulation tools for site-specific load evaluation
• Modularize and enhance scientific computation systems for a scalable cloud environment
• Write well-structured, testable code and promote excellence and learning
• Collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and IT to deliver impactful solutions
• Participate in agile practices and support continuous improvement
• Interest in agile facilitation or Scrum Master path is a plus
