Job summary

OutSystems - Software em Rede S.A. is seeking a senior Motion Designer to translate concepts into compelling visuals, build brand assets, and drive AI-assisted workflows across multi‑channel campaigns.

You will collaborate with global teams, contribute to product explainers, and shape motion guidelines for consistent brand execution across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years motion design experience, preferably in-house at tech/SaaS or with B2B/tech clients.
• Strong portfolio/showreel with storyboards, UI motion and brand assets.
• Experience building clean MOGRTs for Premiere Pro is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Design & Storyboard: Translate scripts, technical product concepts, and creative briefs into clear styleframes, visual concepts, and detailed storyboards using Figma, leveraging AI-assisted tools when helpful to accelerate ideation from script to styleframe.

Product-Focused Motion: Create compelling visual narratives and motion graphics for product explainers, feature overviews, UI animations, product demos, and launch campaigns.

Brand Assets & Template Systems: Develop and refine motion guidelines that align with OutSystems’ brand identity. Build reusable motion brand assets (lower thirds, transitions, animated UI components, title cards) and package them into smart, scalable MOGRTs and Adobe CC Library assets to ensure brand consistency across internal teams and external agencies.

AI-Assisted Workflows & Tools: Explore, test, and share AI-assisted workflows and tools that enhance our video and motion pipeline (from rapid prototyping and concept generation to productivity boosts). Help the Video and Brand teams learn what works and adopt smart efficiencies.

End-to-End Visual Execution: Animate across multi-channel platforms including our website, social media, major events, and internal communications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with a global team of Video Producers, Brand Designers, Product Marketing Managers, and Copywriters from ideation through final delivery.

Video Production Support: Assist with basic video editing, color grading, or video/audio capture during production shoots when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of professional motion design experience, preferably in-house at a tech/SaaS company or at a creative agency working with B2B/tech clients. Your application must include a strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating storyboards/layouts, UI/product motion, brand asset development, and high‑end animation fundamentals.


• AI Fluency: An interest or experimentation background in using AI tools for creative workflows is welcomed. We love exploring how AI can help us work smarter, with a keen eye on protecting quality, brand consistency, and product accuracy.


• Motion & Video: Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud software, specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro. A strong understanding of Expressions and experience building clean MOGRTs for Premiere Pro is a plus.


• Design & Storyboarding: Substantial design, illustration, composition, typography, storyboarding, and 2D motion graphics skills. Since we use Figma for design and layout work, experience with the tool is highly appreciated.


• Tech & UI Sensibility: Ability to navigate the tech world and understand its complex products, UI flows, and enterprise concepts, turning them into crisp, intuitive, and high‑quality motion graphics.


• System Thinking: Experience creating modular motion design systems, asset libraries, and scalable template structures, and a habit of automating repetitive production work.


• Communication & English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; comfortable pitching concepts with stakeholders and incorporating feedback collaboratively.

Bonus Skills

• Hands‑on experience with live‑action video editing, lighting/camera capture, or 3D animation (Cinema4D / Blender) is a strong plus.
