JoomPulse, part of Joom Group, seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to join its international team in Portugal. You will provide full-cycle legal support for the JoomPulse business and partner with tax to navigate Brazil's fiscal rules.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, manage regulatory exposure, and maintain corporate structures to enable operations across markets. Fluent English and Portuguese are essential; 5+ years in a tech or e-commerce environment preferred.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a b2c product firm with IT at its core.
• Core competences in contract law.
• Curiosity and drive for AI application.
• Drafting skills (contracts, RoPA, DPIA etc.).
• Fluent (C1+) English and Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our international legal team and provide legal support for the JoomPulse business.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-cycle legal support for JoomPulse, from daily operations to conclusion of complex agreements
• Work in tight coupling with tax team to navigate fiscal requirements in Brazil
• Keep track of and control regulatory exposure
• Draft, review, negotiate contracts
• Maintain corporate structure to enable operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a b2c product firm, with IT at its core
• Core competences in contract law
• Curiosity and drive for AI application
• Project management skills, ability to dissect complex tasks into steps, determine stakeholders and necessary inputs and outputs
• Drafting skills (contracts, RoPA, DPIA etc.)
• Fluent (C1+) English and Portuguese
• Ability to find right tools and people to accomplish tasks

Preferred

• Experience with e-commerce/marketplaces
• Fluent (C1+) Portuguese
