A leading software development firm in Portugal is seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Kotlin) to help modernize large-scale backend systems. This role involves designing scalable microservices, owning infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, and migrating from legacy systems. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of backend experience, strong Kotlin proficiency, and knowledge of Google Cloud Platform. This position supports flexible hours in a remote, team-oriented environment that promotes technical growth.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (server-side).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Kotlin.
• Take ownership of infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Migrate data and logic from a legacy PHP monolith to Cloud SQL/Spanner.
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to define API schemas.
