act digital in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Java Fullstack Developer to own design and delivery of a new credit workflow platform. You will work on enterprise-grade software using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Angular within a focused engineering team.

You will design microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and integrate with content management systems. The role requires 5–8+ years in full-stack development and hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Angular, and modern DevOps tooling.

Qualificações

• 5–8+ years of hands-on software development experience in full-stack environments.
• Deep proficiency in Core Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Strong Angular (2+) experience and REST API design.
• Experience with DevOps tools and container orchestration.
• Experience with content management platforms and banking workflows.

Are you an experienced Fullstack Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular? Ready to design and build a brand-new Credit Workflow platform within a premier European banking technology hub?

At act digital, we are recruiting a Senior Java Fullstack Developer to join a dedicated 8-person engineering team in Lisbon. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of application design, microservices architecture, and API delivery for business-critical financial workflows.

What you will do:

• Full-Stack Development: Design, build, and deploy robust enterprise applications using Java (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Spring Batch) and modern Angular (2+).
• API Design & Integration: Architect and document secure REST APIs (Swagger, Postman, WSO2 API Gateway) with focus on authentication, authorization, and API monitoring.
• Credit Workflow Innovation: Collaborate directly with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into high-performance credit workflow solutions.
• DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines: Implement continuous integration and deployment using Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes / OpenShift.
• Enterprise Content Integration: Work with Content Management platforms (IBM Content Manager, Hyland OnBase, or Alfresco).
• Quality & Performance: Ensure high code quality and security standards through automated testing (JUnit), code analysis (SonarQube, VeraCode), and logging/monitoring (Splunk).

What we are looking for:

• Experience: 5–8+ years of hands-on software development experience in full-stack enterprise environments.
• Backend Mastery: Deep proficiency in Core Java, OOP, multithreading, microservices, and the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot 2+, Spring Batch, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate).
• Frontend Depth: Strong hands-on experience developing with Angular (2+).
• API & Integration: Solid experience in REST API lifecycle management, Swagger documentation, and API gateways (WSO2 is a plus).
• Environment & Tools: Experience with Linux server configuration, Bash/Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and Git.
• Education: Degree from a technical institute, college, or university in Computer Science / IT or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Content Management tools (IBM Content Manager, Hyland OnBase, or Alfresco).
• Prior exposure to banking IT systems, credit/lending workflows, or wealth management platforms.
