Job summary

Devoteam is a global leader in Digital Transformation, seeking a Java developer to design, build, and maintain robust software solutions in Lisbon. You will work with product teams, designers and analysts to translate requirements into scalable systems, while promoting best coding practices and test coverage.

Required +3 years in Java, strong SQL skills (Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL), REST and SOAP experience, and SOLID principles. English proficiency is essential; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree/Master's degree in Informatics or equivalent.
• +3 years of Java development experience.
• Proven experience with SQL queries, stored procedures (PL/SQL) and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• SOLID Principles; Web Services (REST and SOAP).
• Proficiency in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
• Guide and support junior developers and promote programming standards.
• Create scalable architectures and ensure performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product teams, designers, and analysts to define requirements.
• Write unit tests and ensure good test coverage.
