A leading software development company in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their dynamic tech team. This role focuses on developing backend applications, implementing RESTful APIs, and working with various database technologies. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years in Java backend development and strong proficiency with Spring Boot and AWS services. The company offers a permanent contract, health insurance, and a supportive work environment.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST API.
• Solid experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra and/or MongoDB.
• Familiarized with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Experience using Docker.
• Experience with Mockito, JUnit and/or GUnit.
• At least B2 level of English.
• Based in Portugal.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend applications in Java, with a focus on Spring Boot.
• Implement efficient and secure RESTful APIs.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases.
• Integrate and optimise persistence solutions using Hibernate.
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing.
• Participate in defining architectures and good development practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker and AWS.
• Work in cloud environments with AWS.
