Komodo Consulting is recruiting a Senior Java Backend Developer to work on a Tech project. You will design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Java, applying OOP and design patterns.

You will implement infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, build Kafka-driven integrations, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll also deploy and operate services in Kubernetes, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalable environments.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java backend development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD/shift-left practices.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD concepts and workflows.
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with Kubernetes in development and/or production environments.
• Experience with GraphQL Federation.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, applying object-oriented principles and design patterns consistently.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code components using Terraform to support scalable and repeatable environments.
• Build and evolve event-driven integrations using Kafka.
• Develop and maintain automated tests (unit and integration), applying TDD and shift-left testing practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and workflows using Git-based version control and automation.
• Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments, supporting reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver high-quality solutions.
