KCS IT is seeking an experienced Java developer for a hybrid role based in Porto, Portugal. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional Java development experience, strong OOP, and hands-on work with Spring Boot to build backend services and REST APIs.

You will work with relational databases like SQL, use Git, and follow testing and code quality practices while collaborating with diverse stakeholders in a hybrid environment. English fluency is required and remote options may be discussed.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience with Java in software development or consulting roles (<140 chars)
• Strong knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Experience developing backend applications, services and REST APIs
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Git and software development best practices
• Experience with testing, debugging and code quality practices
• Ability to analyse requirements and contribute to technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and ability to work with different stakeholders
• Fluent in written and spoken English
