Continental is seeking a highly skilled Backend Java Developer to join the Data and Customer Solution Competence Center. You will join the global team working on Fleet Solutions for the Americas, collaborating with SCRUM teams in the US and EU and a DevOps group for continuous delivery.

We expect a University Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of Java experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security and microservices.

Qualificações

• University degree in computer science, IT or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Java programming.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Eureka.
• Exposure to CI tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube.
• Experience with microservice architectures and RESTful services.
• Exposure to testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber.
• Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as Angular (bonus).
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Exposure to implementation design and develop using Java Spring Boot framework for current developments.
• Collaboration with front end team members for development of restful APIs.
• Collaboration with global team members in US and EU.
• Responsible for development of test code / test scenarios ensuring high quality.
• Provide production support.
• Able to debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Compile technical documentation and user assistance material in English.
• Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies to organize and plan projects.
