Euronext Securities in Porto is seeking a Senior Java Software Developer to join the Settlement team, building and maintaining scalable backend services using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.

You will design event-driven architectures, expose REST APIs, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver features while upholding code quality and CI practices.

This role offers exposure to a financial infrastructure with a focus on reliability, observability, and continuous learning.

Qualificações

• Strong foundation in software engineering (Clean Code, SOLID).
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs with Java/Kotlin.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems; Kafka is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Git and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of observability practices (logs, metrics, tracing).
• Experience with Quarkus or similar frameworks is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, unit test, and maintain high-quality backend services using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement scalable, event-driven architectures.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs aligned with OpenAPI standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring optimal performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
