IRIUM Portugal is seeking a Senior Java Back End developer to lead design and development of scalable, high‑performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices.

You should be highly proficient in Java Spring, with strong backend experience, and comfortable guiding teammates across multiple teams. This hybrid role requires three days in the Lisbon office and English at C1 level.

Qualificações

• Senior Java back end with design and development of scalable software.
• Strong Java Spring expertise.
• Experience in backend development and robust components.
• Experience developing scalable, high-performance applications.
• Ability to analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to contribute to technical decisions across multiple teams.
• Experience supporting and guiding team members through knowledge sharing.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies to improve software solutions.
• Strong understanding of modern software development and Agile practices.
• English – minimum C1.
• Availability to work 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon.
