IRIUM is seeking a Java Back End – Junior to join a challenging project in Lisbon. You will contribute to the development and enhancement of scalable software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices.

The role requires strong Java Spring proficiency, backend development experience, and English at least C1. Work is hybrid in Lisbon, three days per week in the office, with a total salary range of €1,500–€1,900 gross per month.

Qualificações

• Strong/expert proficiency in Java Spring.
• Experience developing and enhancing backend software components.
• Ability to execute development tasks independently while applying development best practices and standards.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges by analysing recurring patterns and proposing effective solutions.
• Experience collaborating with team members to continuously improve software components and development processes.
• Active participation in Sprint Planning and Review sessions.
• Ability to contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to development-related challenges.
• Knowledge-sharing mindset to support team goals and collective technical expertise.
• Knowledge of modern software development and Agile practices.
• English – minimum C1.
• Availability to work 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon.
