Continental Internal Audit in Porto, Portugal is seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen risk-based assurance across the globe. You will audit entities, processes and functions through interviews and data analysis, on-site and remote.

You will assess compliance, identify risks and improvements, lead audit teams or participate as an auditor, and advise management on internal processes with findings monitored for implementation.

Qualificações

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in Internal Audit or operational business.
• Experience with SAP, ideally as central key user for specific SAP modules or IT/business interface.
• Experience in MS Office applications.
• Experience in SAP, MySuccess/Employee Central, and Financial and Accounting systems is beneficial.
• Strong sense of ownership, proactive attitude and a high degree of team orientation.
• Strong analytical and communicative skills.
• Very good time management, task planning and prioritization within deadlines.
• Business fluent English (written and spoken).
• Willingness for international business travel (approx. 30-50% of total working time).

Job Description

The purpose of General Internal Audit is to strengthen Continental's ability to create, protect, and sustain value. We achieve this by providing independent, risk-based objective assurance and advice to the Executive Board and to the Tire organization.

As an Internal Auditor you will perform entity and functional audits worldwide. Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Auditing entities,processes and functions by conducting interviews and analyzing data in on-site and remote audits;
• Assessing compliance with standards, policies, procedures and legislation;
• Identifyingrisks, process optimizations and overall improvement potentials;
• Leading audit teams or participating in teams as auditor;
• Consulting management in the development and improvement of internal processes and structures;
• Communicating findings and recommendations as well as monitoring their implementation;
• Participating in fraud investigations;
• Engaging inproject work within General Audit and with other central functions.
