LUZA Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Private Cloud Engineer to design and support Private Cloud architectures in Oliveira de Azeméis. You will ensure stability, performance, and reliability while leading modernization initiatives and virtualization administration using VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.

Strong Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) skills are essential, along with Veeam Backup & Replication expertise.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering or Private Cloud environments.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Proficient Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) administration.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and SAN storage.

What You'll do:

• Design and support the architecture required for day-to-day Private Cloud operations.
• Ensure the stability, performance, availability, and reliability of Private Cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Lead infrastructure lifecycle management, obsolescence remediation, and modernization initiatives.
• Administer and optimize virtualization environments based on VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Manage and support Windows Server and Linux (RHEL and Ubuntu) operating systems.
• Monitor and maintain storage environments, including SAN technologies, datastores, and file systems.
• Oversee backup and recovery operations using Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and availability assessments.
• Identify and mitigate infrastructure-related risks while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance operational efficiency and platform resilience.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or Private Cloud environments.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Experience managing Linux environments, particularly RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Good understanding of SAN storage technologies, datastores, and file systems.
• Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and backup/recovery operations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, operating system, and performance-related issues.
• Experience with capacity management, service availability monitoring, and operational support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively in technical environments.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on infrastructure reliability and modernization
