Elastic Nv is seeking a Senior Information Security Infrastructure Engineer to join the InfoSec - Security Architecture team in Portugal. You will own the security telemetry pipeline, ensuring Elasticsearch clusters remain healthy, scalable, and secure.

The role involves end-to-end ingestion, ILM, CCS, and interactive querying to support security investigations and IR activities. You will work with Terraform, Kubernetes, and AI-assisted tooling to automate ingestion and operations, while

Qualificações

• Operate Elastic and Elasticsearch in production, including ingest pipelines, mappings and queries.
• Experience with ECK or Elasticsearch on Kubernetes is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and operations.
• Kubernetes expertise for deploying workloads, scheduled jobs, and Helm charts.
• API integration for data ingestion with authentication, paging and error handling.
• Python scripting for ingestion and automation tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Ingest security telemetry into Elasticsearch and maintain Elastic clusters.
• Own end-to-end data pipeline from landing to indices and querying.
• Keep Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters healthy; monitor and upgrade.
• Manage ILM, CCS, capacity and shard management.
• Use Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure and Elasticsearch resources.
• Apply AI automation and tooling to reduce toil and improve reliability.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and cost awareness.
