Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in information security.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, NIST, or CIS Controls.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of encryption methods, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Familiarity with biometric passport technology is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities within the organization's systems.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
• Monitor security events and investigate any potential or confirmed incidents.
• Keep abreast of emerging threats and ensure that the organization is prepared to defend against them.
• Educate employees on best practices for information security.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
