Expleo is seeking an experienced Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer in Lisboa, Portugal, to manage and optimize their on-premises infrastructure. The successful candidate will automate processes, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and support cloud and hybrid environments.

Applicants should have at least 7 years of experience, strong knowledge in Linux and Proxmox, and proficiency in tools like Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes. Excellent communication skills in professional English are a must.

Qualificações

• 7+ years in Infrastructure / DevOps roles.
• Proven strong hands-on experience with on-prem environments.
• Expertise in Proxmox (KVM) and Linux administration.
• Production use of Ansible necessary.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls).
• Experience with storage & high-availability concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python).
• Operational knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with database administration (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Strong ownership, autonomy, and communication skills are essential.
• Professional English proficiency needed.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and optimize on-premises infrastructure (Linux, Proxmox, storage, networking).
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible and IaC principles.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Support cloud (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Operate Kubernetes workloads (day-to-day ops & troubleshooting).
• Ensure system reliability, monitoring, and incident response (24/7 on-call).
• Collaborate with teams and maintain technical documentation.
