Job summary

aRBe-IT in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join an international project. You will be hands-on while contributing to technical decisions, architecture, code quality and team development.

You will design and implement REST APIs, work with SQL and participate in CI/CD and DevOps practices. The role requires strong Java/Spring Boot experience and experience with React/Next.js in a collaborative, ownership-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React and/or Next.js.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, SQL and Git.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Maven and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React and Next.js.
• Design and implement REST APIs and work with SQL/RDBMS.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
• Write unit and integration tests, applying TDD/BDD where relevant.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices, including GitHub Actions.
• Support technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of solutions and contribute to continuous improvement.
