Job summary

Wire IT, a Portugal-based IT consulting partner, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular) for a hybrid role in Lisbon or Porto. You will contribute across the stack, participate in code reviews, and help shape technical decisions.

The role demands 6+ years in Agile environments, strong Angular and Java expertise, and fluency in Portuguese and English. The company offers health insurance, vacation, training budget, and a vibrant, international team.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in Agile environments.
Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban, with Jira and Confluence experience.
Extensive experience with Angular 2+ and Java (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring MVC).
Experience with unit testing using JUnit, Mockito or equivalent testing frameworks.
Experience using AI coding assistants and applying software design patterns.
Knowledge of continuous integration principles and related tools.
Experience working with relational databases, particularly Oracle, and knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
Active participation in code reviews and a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English; French is a plus.
Autonomy, strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a proactive and innovative approach.
Ability to promote best practices and mentor less experienced team members.
