Wise Pirates in Portugal is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to architect, build, and deploy modern websites, e-commerce platforms, and web apps. You will work across the full product lifecycle in a high-performing team.

You will drive AI-powered experiences, ensure accessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA, and implement robust APIs, microservices, and scalable infrastructures in a hybrid Porto-based setup.

Qualificações

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience as a Full Stack Developer with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong front-end proficiency: HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Next.js.
• Back-end experience: Node.js, Python, or PHP with production-grade APIs.
• Experience with WordPress/WooCommerce, Shopify or Webflow; headless/Composable is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable full-stack applications focused on websites, e-commerce and apps.
• Develop and integrate APIs and manage microservices architecture to ensure seamless functionality.
• Lead integration of AI-powered solutions to create personalized web experiences (recommendation engines, virtual try-ons).
• Implement UX/UI designs from Figma and develop responsive, high-performance front-end components.
• Build to WCAG 2.1 AA default with semantic markup and accessible navigation.
• Ship front ends that machines can read with stable semantics and llms.txt integration.
• Manage testing, debugging, and QA; CI gates and end-to-end test coverage including money paths.
• Guard security with OWASP Top 10, CSP headers, and standard authentication.
• Host, infra & observability: optimize hosting environments and instrument deployments.
• Define AI usage in workflow: what gets automated vs reviewed by humans.
