Job summary

Swiss Life Asset Managers is seeking a hands-on Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Investment Solutions team in Lisbon. You will contribute directly to the product with TypeScript and modern web tech while modeling secure, scalable frontend solutions.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers, the product owner and business analyst to deliver high-quality, well-tested frontend features that enhance the client experience.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience developing frontend applications with TypeScript in a browser environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with the DOM, HTML, and CSS using modern web frameworks.
• A track record of delivering high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with source control (Git), code reviews, linting and static analysis, unit and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Familiarity with secure software development principles and addressing security concerns.
• Confidence in owning features and making informed technical decisions.
• Proactive attitude toward improving code quality and reducing technical debt.
• Comfort working in Unix-based environments via WSL on Windows.
• Ability to collaborate within an international team across cultures and geographies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the product's development with hands-on coding on the Investment Solutions portal.
