Zendesk is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer for AI Copilot in Lisbon, Portugal. You will own end-to-end frontend features in React/TypeScript, building accessible, high-performance UIs with the Garden design system and collaborating with design, backend, ML teams.

You’ll ship frequently, contribute to frontend architecture, and mentor peers in a hybrid role with offices worldwide and flexible remote portions. Experience with streaming/AI features is a plus.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience building and operating large-scale, Internet-facing web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and the browser platform (state management, performance, accessibility).
• Solid understanding of building against RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and shipping to production frequently.
• A track record of owning features end-to-end and delivering them to production with high quality.

Responsabilidades

• Own and deliver end-to-end frontend features from design to production.
• Build accessible, performant UIs in React/TypeScript using Garden design system.
• Collaborate with Product Design to turn designs into production-ready interfaces.
• Work with backend/ML teams to integrate AI-powered capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to frontend architecture decisions.
