Catawiki in Lisbon is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help deliver web app features for buyers and sellers. You will work with TypeScript and React on scalable microservices, collaborating with QA, UX, and Product Managers to create high-quality, accessible interfaces.

Based in Lisbon with a hybrid schedule (minimum two days in the office), you’ll join a diverse team responsible for performance, reliability, and a great user experience across devices.

Qualificações

• Extensive frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a strong portfolio.
• Strong foundations in HTML, CSS, HTTP, CORS, caching, and CDNs.
• Experience with ReactJS, NextJS, Redux, CSS Modules, Tailwind, or Rails.
• Product-focused collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Production ownership: design, deploy, monitor, and run applications.
• Understanding of SOLID/DRY, accessibility, security, SEO, performance, testing, observability, and typing.

Responsabilidades

• Build impactful product experiences across buyers, sellers, customer service, and internal teams.
• Create adaptable web frontends on scalable microservices using TypeScript and React.
• Deliver responsive, accessible experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Improve performance by measuring systems and using data insights.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers on experiments and data-driven validation.
• Work with engineers, QA, design, and product to build scalable solutions.
