Senior Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

Join the squad modernizing Solvace’s frontend. You’ll develop complex UI components from scratch, bring clean code practices, and help deliver a fast, maintainable, and professional user experience.

Location: Portugal (Remote)

Contract Type: PJ Contractor

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new product interfaces in Angular 18 (moving to 19)
• Implement responsive layouts using Tailwind CSS v3.4+
• Build and maintain custom, high-performance UI components (not just plug & play)
• Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams under an agile mindset
• Handle RxJS-based state management and UI observables
• Champion code quality through clean architecture, peer reviews, and scalable design patterns, supported by our Definition of Done and SonarQube standards
• Collaborate in a culture that values engineering discipline, automated testing, and continuous improvement across the SDLC

Requirements

Essential

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least Angular v15+
• Proficient in RxJS, TypeScript, Angular CDK, and state management patterns
• Strong grasp of HTML/CSS, Tailwind, and UI component design
• Able to write modular, testable, and performant UI code

Desirable

• Familiarity with Angular Material, ECharts, Quill
• Experience working in cross-disciplinary squads and iterative releases
• Comfort with AWS-hosted apps and DevOps collaboration
