Job summary

PrimeIT is seeking a Senior FinOps Expert to support cloud cost optimization and governance on an international project based in Lisbon. You will work with engineering, architecture, and finance teams to analyze usage patterns and help manage cloud resources effectively.

The role requires FinOps experience with major cloud providers, strong reporting skills in Excel and Power BI, and the ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in FinOps or cloud financial management.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud billing models.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with cloud cost management tools such as IBM Cloudability.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud costs and resource usage.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Build reports and dashboards to track cloud spend, trends, and cost anomalies.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and finance teams to identify savings opportunities.
