Hiscox is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting & Control Analyst to join its hybrid team in Lisbon. You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts for UK entities under IFRS, manage statutory reporting, and coordinate with auditors.

The role requires strong Excel skills, data analytics, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach. You will collaborate across UK Finance to ensure tight close cycles, drive process improvements, and support finance projects while maintaining high accuracy

Qualificações

  • Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in financial accounting.
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is preferred.
  • Experience managing audit deliverables and liaising with auditors.

Responsabilidades

  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts for UK entities under IFRS.
  • Produce and review management accounts and statutory reporting outputs.
  • Manage audit deliverables and respond to auditor queries.
  • Own and enhance financial processes, documentation, and internal controls.
