Job summary

Decskill is seeking a Senior Finance Business Analyst to support Finance Implementation Projects in a hybrid role based in Porto. You will design, develop and implement financial interfaces between business systems and Finance platforms, while ensuring alignment with the group’s Finance strategy.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in banking, accounting or finance, and holds a Master’s in Accounting or Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, accounting, or finance.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Work closely with FIP Project Managers across all project phases.
• Follow the project management methodology defined by the central team.
• Respect project milestones and budget constraints.
• Contribute to workaround solutions when issues impact timelines or costs.
• Produce regular project status updates for Project Managers and Team Leaders.
• Participate in project committees, presenting progress and next steps.
• Define operational and accounting schemes and control frameworks.
• Define data flow structures to feed Finance systems.
• Produce functional specifications for IT teams (operating systems, financial IT).
• Coordinate activities across stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Update chart of accounts when required for the project solution.
• Contribute to testing strategy and conduct full accounting and reporting test phases.
• Provide aftercare support to reporting users.
• Knowledge of general or banking accounting is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking or capital markets products.
• Familiarity with financial information systems.

Responsibilities
