Haworth International in Portugal seeks a senior finance professional to lead statutory compliance, tax filings and financial reporting for the local entity. You will own end-to-end reporting, liaise with corporate accounting and the Shared Service Center, and ensure timely and accurate financial statements.

The role requires a Chartered Accountant qualification, 5+ years in related finance roles, and fluency in English. SAP expertise and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Local Chartered Accountant qualification (Contabilista Certificado).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, statutory accounting, tax compliance, audit coordination or related finance roles.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and own statutory compliance, tax compliance and financial reporting for the local entity.
• Prepare and publish month-end financial reporting package with reconciliations.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and year-end submissions.
• Coordinate with Local Shared Service Center on accounting entries and reporting adjustments.
• Manage local tax, legal and statutory filings per market requirements.
• Support review and monitoring of fixed assets and annual count.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits with auditors and tax advisors.
• Prepare financial reports, analyses and ad hoc information for management.
