Advanced Ground Systems Engineering in Portugal is seeking a Lead Product Development Engineer to join our European team. You will translate customer needs into actionable requirements and drive the development of engine transport stands and related ground support equipment from concept to production, working with European OEMs and the California team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible mechanical product development experience.
• Ability to lead complex mechanical products from concept through design release and validation.
• Strong experience with fabricated structures, welded assemblies, machined components, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with a professional 3D CAD system and Autodesk Inventor.

Responsabilidades

• Understand technical, operational, safety, and lifecycle requirements from European engine OEMs and aerospace customers.
• Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, concepts, and development plans.
• Lead development of engine transportation stands and related aerospace ground support equipment from concept to production.
• Coordinate with European time zone and global teams to ensure design reviews and development milestones.
• Mentor and collaborate with engineers to build a robust European engineering capability.
