Organon Northwest Europe in Lisbon is seeking an experienced SAP Vertex Indirect Tax Architect to support tax design, Vertex integration with SAP S/4HANA, and compliance reporting. The role requires hands-on Vertex 9.0 implementation and deep accounting knowledge to troubleshoot complex tax scenarios.

The position demands strong cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Supply, and Tax teams, and the ability to work independently within a global IT framework across borders.

Qualificações

• 7-10+ years experience in Indirect taxes focusing on SAP FI/CO and Vertex 9.0
• Hands-on Vertex implementation and troubleshooting
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environment and compliance modules
• Knowledge of intercompany service concepts and pharma-specific flows
• Strong accounting knowledge and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsabilidades

• Guide tax design and configure native tax processes to SAP S/4HANA and Vertex integration
• Translate requirements into technical specs with business partners
• Ensure SAP S/4HANA and Compliance solutions meet goals and practices
• Conduct architectural reviews and risk mitigation planning
• Align standards, KPIs, and cross-system dependencies across ERP platforms
• Maintain documentation quality and cross-functional governance
