Job summary

Decskill, an IT consulting company with 800+ professionals, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (Embedded Systems) for projects in Porto, Coimbra, Lisbon or Viseu. You will design and evolve CI/CD pipelines for embedded and real‑time software, from emulators to hardware.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps, strong IaC and GitOps, automation, and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, SonarQube, and monitoring stacks. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer at senior/lead level.
• Proficient CI/CD orchestration with Jenkins and GitLab CI, Nexus and Artifactory.
• IaC and GitOps with OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible.
• Test automation with SonarQube, pytest, QEMU, HIL benches and OWASP ZAP.
• Observability with Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, eBPF.
• Security and progressive delivery: OTA, SAST, SCA, SBOMs, IEC 62443.
• Good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain declarative CI/CD pipelines with reusable workflows.
• Implement IaC and GitOps reconciliation with immutable infrastructure and auto‑provisioned environments.
• Configure automated test pyramids and gates on emulators and real hardware (HIL).
• Build real‑time system monitoring dashboards and maturity progress views.
• Implement canary and A/B deployments including OTA with automatic rollback.
• Ensure software supply chain security and auditable releases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes using metrics.
