Black & White Engineering is a multi-award-winning engineering consultancy with more than 1,300 employees across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. A Principal Electrical Engineer role focuses on leading large-scale projects and shaping electrical design from concept to delivery.

You will mentor engineers, engage with clients and contractors, and contribute to engineering excellence across international markets while advancing your leadership and technical capabilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 10–15 years of experience within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy environment.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects, ideally including data centres or other mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, including LV power systems, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection, and ELV systems.
• Experience undertaking MV power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, selectivity and coordination analysis.
• Good understanding of local codes, IEC Standards and relevant industry regulations.
• Proficiency with electrical engineering software such as ETAP, Dialux or equivalent design tools.
• Experience leading project teams, coordinating multidisciplinary activities and managing project delivery.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors and colleagues.
