Job summary

Dellent is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer Lead for a hybrid project in Almada. The role focuses on technical leadership, guiding DevOps, SRE and Platform Engineering teams, and delivering robust CI/CD and deployment automation across Azure and on-prem integrations.

You will work in a multicultural environment with strong customer focus, optimizing digital systems and ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining a proactive stance on security and automation. Fluency in English (B2+) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Tech Lead, leading and mentoring DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering teams.
• Technical leadership skills, including architectural decisions, backlog management, sprint planning and definition of best practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Hands‑on experience with AKS, Helm charts, JFrog Artifactory and pipeline scripting.
• Knowledge of SonarQube, code reviews and Jira integration.
• Experience with build and deployment processes for Spring Boot and Angular applications.
• Experience automating release processes and database migrations (Cosmos DB, Apache Cassandra).
• Knowledge of Terraform, Azure Bicep, Liquibase or Flyway is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-driven CI/CD automation and vulnerability scanning is valued.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced level of English (minimum B2).
