SOAX in Portugal is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps/SRE to own and improve a geo-distributed proxy infrastructure. You will troubleshoot incidents, fix root causes, and push toward production-grade reliability with monitoring, deployment pipelines, and disaster recovery.

This role embraces autonomy, on-call responsibility, and a startup pace. You’ll tackle latency issues across regions, optimize routing, and drive end-to-end improvements while maintaining a high standard of operational

Qualificações

• Proven hands-on experience with bare-metal infrastructure.
• Strong DevOps and SRE mindset with incident response experience.
• Experience diagnosing complex distributed systems.
• Ability to own practical fixes from root cause to production.
• Comfort with on-call rotations and incident management.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and fix incidents on a geo-distributed proxy system.
• Rebuild infrastructure to production-grade standards: monitoring, alerting, pipelines.
• Work at the network level: analyze packet flows and latency.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual toil.
• Own strategic projects from proposal to deployment.
