A leading IT services company in Aveiro, Portugal, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance cloud infrastructure while managing scalable Amazon EKS clusters. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform, implementing advanced architectures and ensuring reliability and security in the AWS ecosystem. This full-time role values excellent communication skills and offers a competitive compensation package, with flexible work options including remote work.

Qualificações

• 3–5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Proven track record managing AWS environments with multiple services.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals including API server and controllers.
• Strong experience with EKS and self‑managed Kubernetes clusters.
• Ability to design and implement Kubernetes resources using Operator pattern.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure‑as‑Code.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and manage Amazon EKS clusters.
• Implement advanced Kubernetes architectures.
• Develop and maintain custom Kubernetes resources.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of workloads.
• Integrate Kubernetes with AWS services.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
• Perform cluster monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Establish best practices for Kubernetes.

Conhecimentos

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work independently

Experience as a DevOps Engineer
