Job summary

Loka Inc in Portugal is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and improve cloud infrastructure across diverse projects. You will build scalable AWS-based systems, orchestrate containers with Kubernetes, and implement CI/CD pipelines in a remote, English-speaking team.

You should have 4+ years of DevOps experience, strong scripting, IaC (AWS CDK/Terraform/CDKTF), Python and TypeScript, and a degree in computer science.

As Loka’s Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be the go-to specialist for crafting and deploying infrastructure across a variety of projects. Your skills in AWS, TypeScript and Python will allow us to build solid, scalable systems and improve them over time. Ultimately we expect you to not only to fit in with the team but to elevate it to new heights.

The Role

• Develop technical design specifications based on functional requirements and develop and maintain AWS Cloud applications.

• Assess change implementation options, benefits and risks and recommend the most appropriate approach with minimal assistance.
