AgileEngine, a Portugal-based IT services provider in Coimbra, invites applications for a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to join our DevOps-driven team. You will maintain production and staging environments, migrate applications, and enhance cloud infrastructure reliability.

You will collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and observability tools, while supporting multi-tenant SaaS deployments and incident responses in a fast-paced, on-site role with weekend migrations as needed.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps/Production Operations.
• Demonstrable AWS EKS experience supporting production environments.
• Experience supporting production SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar).
• GitOps experience with strong Git fundamentals.
• Experience using GitHub, Jira, and Confluence in collaborative engineering environments.
• Kubernetes experience (EKS, kOps, or similar).
• Observability stack experience (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, PagerDuty, or similar).
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or Go).
• IaC experience (Terraform, Helm, or similar).
• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Comfortable working within SLAs and structured processes.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Self-driven with a growth mindset.
• Weekend availability for migrations when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate applications between environments; weekends may be required.
• Monitor and support production and staging environments in real time.
• Respond to incidents, perform triage and root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotation with defined SLAs.
• Handle ad-hoc operational requests from product and support teams.
• Maintain and enhance monitoring, dashboards, logs, and observability practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, production releases, and GitOps workflows.
• Contribute to automation to reduce toil.
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Support Infrastructure as Code practices and environment improvements.
