Elastic, the Search AI Company, is hiring a Senior Developer Advocate to create high‑quality technical videos and content that connect search, AI/ML, observability, and Elasticsearch. You will explain integrations with tools, prototype sample apps, and help our global user base.

You bring a proven track record of engaging video content, strong engineering background, and excellent English. This distributed role offers flexible locations and competitive compensation with benefits.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of creating highly technical and engaging videos — mandatory in the application.
• Strong technical background and experience in an engineering role.
• Empathy for the community to help them solve their issues, provide internal feedback to make Elastic’s products better, and fix problems where possible.
• Comfortable working with a highly distributed team.
• Experience working self-driven and self‑organizing.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality technical videos focused on search, AI/ML, observability and Elasticsearch as a platform. This covers foundational concepts, sophisticated use-cases, and research trends.
• Explore and explain how Elasticsearch integrates with other tools and protocols in the ecosystems (e.g., LLMs, frameworks, OpenTelemetry and Cloud providers).
• Prototype and publish sample applications showing end‑to‑end Search + AI or observability use cases.
• Bring a creative twist to Elastic's content creation to keep existing users engaged and capture new audiences.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on your hands‑on experience and community interactions.
