About the Role

PandaDoc is hiring a Senior Design Engineer for the Growth track. The role sits at the intersection of design and engineering, turning exploratory prototypes into production‑grade React code in days. You’ll help reduce the time from idea to validated decision and ultimately to shipping surface.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prototype AI‑native ideas in code quickly—convert a concept from Figma or an LLM conversation into a production‑grade React component in days, handling layout, interaction, motion, accessibility, and performance.
• Ship production‑grade Growth surfaces, owning key surfaces end‑to‑end.
• Set the quality ceiling for AI‑assisted output, establishing what “good” looks like through reviews, examples, and reusable patterns.
• Extend AI‑enabled tools and processes, improving patterns and prompt libraries so the team can move at your pace.
• Partner with design leadership to define quality standards for AI shipping.
• Trailblaze the Design Engineer function at PandaDoc—own work from problem framing to launch and shape the role’s operations.
• Measure impact both through what you ship and how much faster the team ships because of your work.

What You'll Bring

• Strong experience in design and front‑end engineering, with a portfolio of shipped interfaces or widely‑used components.
• Fluency in React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and an animation library such as Framer Motion or React Spring.
• Active, opinionated use of Cursor and Claude Code in daily workflow, and a clear view on producing production‑quality output.
• Eye for design and engineering workflows—identifying inefficiencies and building tools or patterns to fix them.
• Comfort building from scratch and the judgment to set direction when no template exists.
• Exposure to or excitement for PandaDoc’s stack: React, TypeScript, the internal AI‑enabled design system, Figma, Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary; for Poland the range is 31,000‑40,000 PLN per month.
