Finastra is seeking an experienced Database Operations Engineer to join the Application Operations team. You will manage and optimize Oracle 19c databases, PostgreSQL, and cross‑platform environments on Linux and Windows, in a cloud‑based Azure setup.

Responsibilities include installations, performance tuning, monitoring, and deploying releases via Azure DevOps pipelines, with on‑call rotation and SLAs across global clients.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Solid hands‑on experience in public cloud infrastructure and services (preferably Microsoft Azure).
• Experience with Oracle databases (19c), PostgreSQL, and both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of IT operations, high availability, disaster recovery, and networking basics.
• Scripting skills: PL/SQL, Python, Bash; familiarity with DevOps tooling including Azure DevOps.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and manage Oracle 19c databases and PostgreSQL in live environments.
• Tune performance and monitor database health to ensure optimal operation.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using Linux/Windows on Azure; work with PaaS services and Azure pipelines.
• Install releases, service packs, patches, and hot-fixes via Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Investigate incidents and provide timely resolutions within SLAs; participate in 24/7 production support.
