Devoteam is looking for a Database Expert in Lisboa, Portugal. As part of the team, you will ensure high availability and security of database systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents, optimizing database performance, and contributing to international database projects. Candidates should have solid expertise in PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server, along with a degree in IT or related fields. Qualificações

• Solid expertise in at least two of the following database technologies: PostgreSQL / EDB, MS SQL Server.
• Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Upper intermediate level (B2) of written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with Cloud Database Services (e.g., AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).

Responsabilidades

• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all supported database systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database incidents in mission-critical environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize query performance and database design.
