Metyis AG in Porto invites a Data Science Principal (Fashion) to join our global Data and Analytics team on site. You will translate business problems into analytics solutions and provide project oversight while guiding a multidisciplinary team in a fast-growing environment.

You should bring a Master or PhD in a quantitative field, 5–7 years of consulting or relevant experience, and strong English communication to influence business outcomes.

Qualificações

• Master or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g. econometrics, AI, mathematics, physics, and other exact sciences).
• Fashion industry experience preferred, Omnichannel management experience a plus.
• Sharp thinking to hierarchically structure information in data under analysis.
• Strong statistics knowledge with a range of analytical tools from databases to scripting languages.
• Knowledge of data engineering solutions is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage projects and mentor juniors in the team.
• 5-7 years of consulting or relevant industry experience, with at least 1 year in a project lead role.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex analytics to business users.
• Professional fluency in English.
