KCS IT is seeking an experienced Data Tester to support data projects remotely from Portugal. You will design and execute ETL test scenarios, validate source-to-target mappings, and ensure data quality, working closely with developers and analysts. A strong SQL background and thorough test documentation are essential.

The role offers a flexible remote setup, diverse client projects, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, merit-driven environment. Excellent communication in English required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineering or similar.
• 6+ years of experience.
• Prepare and execute ETL test scenarios, test cases and evidence packs.
• Validate source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, joins, aggregations and load outcomes.
• Perform SQL-based data validation, reconciliation and data quality checks.
• Identify, log, analyse and support the resolution of defects alongside developers and analysts.
• Support regression, integration and release testing for data platform enhancements.
• Create and maintain test documentation and acceptance evidence for business and technology stakeholders.
• Participate in test planning, execution and continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Good level of English.
