Dellent is seeking a skilled Data Engineer (Python/GCP) who is fluent in French to join a Lisbon-based hybrid project within the investment banking and financial services space. You will design and optimize data pipelines, implement data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data products.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, deep knowledge of GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) and modern BI tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 6 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and schema design.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, data lakes, or data warehouses.
• Proficiency with Python (design patterns, testing, packaging, performance considerations).
• Knowledge of AI prediction models, including data preparation for machine learning, feature stores, and MLOps principles.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow/Beam, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer/Airflow),and SQL.
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools, such as: Airflow/Cloud Composer; CI/CD for data pipelines, and Git forversion control.
• Familiarity withtesting practices: UAT, QA testing, test planning, data validations, and test automation.
• Experience with Spark/Databricks, Control-M or other enterprise scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of BI/Analytics tools, and data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA).
• Fluent in French and English.
