Siemens Portugal Tech Hub is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a frontend focus to shape our data analytics landscape. You will leverage Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to design, develop, and optimize data solutions that empower data-driven decisions and elevate user experiences across the organization.

You will work in a dynamic agile environment, contributing to our cloud infrastructure within the Value Center Data Intelligence and Automation at Siemens Smart Infrastructure.

Qualificações

• Proven ability to independently design, develop, configure, and customize complex solutions using Power BI (reports, dashboards, datasets), Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Query.
• Deep expertise in structuring and optimizing data models, integrating diverse data sources (including Snowflake), and leveraging Microsoft Fabric to build a robust data foundation.
• Mastery of DAX for complex calculations and advanced data modeling within Power BI, plus expert-level SQL for data integration, querying, and performance optimization.
• Experience in Snowflake design, implementation, and optimization.
• Proficiency with dbt for data modeling, pipeline development, and quality assurance is a plus.
• Expert SQL skills for complex data manipulation, schema design, and performance tuning.

Responsabilidades

• Integrated Solution Architecture & Implementation: Design, develop, configure, and customize complex solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Query.
• Data Fabric Integration & Modeling: Optimize data architecture by integrating diverse data sources and craft efficient data models.
• Performance, Scalability & User Experience: Develop user-centric solutions focused on operational efficiency and scalable experiences.
• Data Analytics Backend Collaboration: Collaborate with Data Architects and the SI Data Cloud teams to align on data analytics concepts.
• Internal Consulting: Act as an internal consultant for data-driven use cases across portfolios.
